In the pictures below I'm demonstrating an activity called the join up. The join up is a bonding activity where the horse is sent out in a round pen and then given the opportunity to decide whether he will trust you and ultimately submit to you or not. This is just one of many activities that can be used as metaphors for various real life situations to learn about boundaries and relationship skills within Equine Assisted Learning.
